Refund Policy
Last Updated: 12/10/2025
At Cornelia Springs Event Venue & Flower Farm and Petals & Plates Catering (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we strive to provide exceptional service and transparent policies. The following Refund Policy outlines how cancellations and refunds are handled for venue bookings, catering services, and floral arrangements.
1. Event Deposits
-
All deposits made to reserve an event date are non-refundable.
-
A deposit secures your date and prevents us from booking other clients; therefore, it cannot be returned under any circumstance unless otherwise stated in a signed contract.
2. Venue Booking Payments
-
Final payments are due by the deadline listed in your contract.
-
Payments made after the deposit are refundable only if cancellation occurs within 7 days of payment, provided the event date is still more than 120 days away.
-
Cancellations made within 120 days of the event date are not eligible for any refund.
3. Rescheduling Policy
-
Rescheduling may be allowed based on availability.
-
If approved, all payments transfer to the new date.
-
A rescheduling fee may apply, depending on the date and season.
-
If no mutually agreeable date is available, the cancellation policy above applies.
4. Catering Refunds (Petals & Plates Catering)
-
Catering deposits are non-refundable once menu planning begins.
-
Guest count adjustments can be made until the deadline specified in your catering agreement.
-
Cancellations after food purchasing or preparation has begun are not eligible for refunds.
5. Floral Service Refunds
-
Floral deposits are non-refundable due to the planning, ordering, and seasonal nature of flowers.
-
If a cancellation occurs after flowers have been ordered or harvested, no refund will be issued.
-
In the event of supply shortages or weather-related issues, we may provide substitutions of equal or higher value. Refunds for substitutions are not offered.
6. Weather & Force Majeure Events
Refunds are not provided for cancellations due to:
-
Weather
-
Natural disasters
-
Vendor failures
-
Illness
-
Travel issues
-
Other events outside our control
Clients are encouraged to have alternative plans, such as indoor ceremony options or event insurance.
7. Failure to Comply With Policies
No refund will be issued if an event must be ended early or terminated due to:
-
Disorderly conduct
-
Property damage
-
Illegal activities
