Venue Rules for Clients & Vendors

Cornelia Springs Event Venue & Flower Farm

To ensure every event at Cornelia Springs runs smoothly and safely, we ask all clients, guests, and vendors to follow the guidelines below. These rules help protect our property, ensure a positive experience for everyone, and maintain the natural beauty of our venue.

 

1. Access & Event Timing

  • Access to the venue is limited to the time stated in your contract.

  • Early arrivals or late departures must be approved in advance and may incur additional fees.

  • All events must end by the designated cutoff time to comply with local noise regulations.

 

2. Setup & Cleanup

  • Clients and vendors are responsible for setting up and removing décor, equipment, and personal items within the contracted timeframe.

  • All décor must be approved in advance, especially items requiring installation.

  • Cleanup must include removal of trash, personal belongings, and vendor supplies.

  • Any damage to the property, structures, or landscaping will be billed to the client.

 

3. Décor & Installations

  • No nails, screws, staples, or adhesives may be used on walls, beams, or structures.

  • Open flames must be contained in approved holders; no loose candles are allowed.

  • Only biodegradable items (ex. petals, bubbles) may be used outdoors—no confetti, glitter, rice, or artificial petals.

  • Hanging décor must be installed by an approved vendor or with prior permission.

 

4. Floral & Catering Vendor Policies

Floral Vendors

  • Outside florists must coordinate deliveries and setup times with the venue.

  • Water-filled containers must be kept from damaging wood surfaces.

  • All floral waste must be removed at the end of the event.

 

Catering Vendors

  • Licensed and insured caterers are required unless using Petals & Plates Catering.

  • All food waste, equipment, and supplies must be removed after the event.

  • Hot food equipment must be used safely and in designated areas only.

 

5. Alcohol & Beverage Service

  • Alcohol service must follow all local and state laws.

  • A licensed and insured bartender is required for any event serving alcohol.

  • No self-service alcohol stations are permitted.

  • Cornelia Springs reserves the right to stop alcohol service if safety concerns arise.

 

6. Safety & Conduct

  • Children must be supervised at all times, especially around the pond and flower fields.

  • No smoking or vaping is permitted inside any building. Outdoor smoking is allowed only in designated areas.

  • Firearms, fireworks, sky lanterns, and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.

  • Disorderly conduct or illegal activities may result in immediate removal from the property.

 

7. Property & Grounds

  • Please respect our flower farm—cutting or removing flowers without permission is not allowed.

  • Vehicles must stay on designated roadways and parking areas.

  • Outdoor areas may be affected by weather; Cornelia Springs is not responsible for ground conditions.

  • Wildlife and natural landscapes should not be disturbed.

 

8. Vendor Requirements

All vendors must:

  • Provide proof of liability insurance if requested

  • Review the venue layout prior to setup

  • Follow all safety guidelines and venue rules

  • Use professional equipment that does not damage property

Cornelia Springs reserves the right to prohibit vendors who do not comply with our standards.

 

9. Photography & Media

  • Photographers may explore designated areas but must avoid restricted zones.

  • Drones are allowed only with prior approval and proper licensing.

  • Cornelia Springs may use event images for marketing unless the client declines in writing.

 

10. Weather Policy

  • Clients are responsible for providing tents or alternative plans for rain or severe weather.

  • Cornelia Springs is not liable for weather-related disruptions or cancellations.

 

11. Liability

  • Clients are responsible for the actions of their guests and vendors.

  • Cornelia Springs is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

  • Damages to venue property will be billed to the client.

 

12. Agreement

By entering into a contract with Cornelia Springs Event Venue & Flower Farm, clients and vendors agree to follow all rules listed above. Failure to comply may result in additional charges or termination of the event.
